My Thoughts: I'm loving all the Christmas reads that are coming out. I love Christmas! And like the colors on a Christmas tree this book with two short stories is aptly named Colors of Christmas.
And Olivia Newport is a brand new to me author. A win win!
Christmas in Blue would make a wonderful Hallmark Christmas show. A grieving, tired woman is in charge of the town's celebration. And here Angela just wanted to by pass this season.
Then Gabe, the mysterious stranger, comes to town. All the townspeople are suspicious of him but Angela welcomes and warms up to Gabe.
A light, sweet novella.
Christmas in Gold is a more emotional, heartwarming short story of an older woman who has seen a lot and gone through a lot in her lifetime.
She's outlived two husbands, gone through the Nazi regime and moved to America.
Now another change comes to her life. She is suppose to move to an assisted living community but meets a despairing young woman.
Astrid's life story is a compelling story of God's faithfulness.
